Freebie Friday: April 4, 2008

Huge thanks to Heather, from Freebies 4 Mom, for sharing her list of freebie goodies this week. She saved the day since I just arrived back in town this evening. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I will blog more about the Camp Baby event that I got the opportunity to go to next week, along with two new giveaways for The Mother Loot. In the meantime, I have posted some of my pictures from the event, if you want to take a peek! I learned so much from some amazing speakers and also loved networking and making some great new friends.

"Love the Friday freebies! I am thinking about starting a random giveaway in addition to my Friday giveaway. I'm crazy like that.

I can't wait to hear about Camp Baby. Just curious, did they say anything about those who were "disinvited" because of their breastfeeding babies? I have seen so much in the blogosphere, and was wondering how J&J would address it at the event. In any case, I hope you had a wonderful time! And, I hope the goody bags were packed full of stuff for ya!
Have a great weekend!"

"Andria- You know, there was little mention of it from anyone I hung out with or from J&J. I think everyone has moved on and they have said that this was a learning process for them, as they had not hosted something like this before. I really felt like it was a genuine mistake, but I think they more than apologized and tried to make up for it.

I don't know if they will repeat this event due to the cost and expense to the company. I am hoping that they will see the benefits of doing something like this. We all offered opinions on their product line and things we want to see from the company.

I really was pleased with how it all turned out!!"
