Tell Your Child's Story

I get a lot of emails from mothers who are dealing with children with special needs and who want to share their experience and story with our readers. Do you have a child who battles a physical or mental illness? Would you like to use my blog as a platform to share their story with our readers?

I am interested in hearing from the mothers of these brave children. If you would like to tell your child's story, please email me at amy@momadvice.com and let me know. I would love to feature these children regularly on our blog and learn more about your families and the difficulties that you have to overcome.

"While I feel that this is a great idea, unless there was a way to be anonymous, I think most people wouldn't really be interested, especially kids with mental illnesses."

"They could certainly remain anonymous and we would never use a last name or picture (unless the family requests this).

I have my first story and we will be featuring a family with a child who was diagnosed with skin cancer.

"Amy - I think it is a wonderful idea to post about familes and children who have special needs - whatever the need may be. There is so much out there that we need to bring awareness to. I am the mother and wife to two Type 1 Diabetics. My son, Anthony, was diagnosed when he was 28 months old. I will be writing my story and would love to have you tell it on your site."
