Freebie Friday: October 13, 2006

This week’s letter comes from one of my most dedicated readers. She frequently comments on my entries (this always scores big points with me!) and she sent me some great tips that I wanted to share with all of you. Please keep those reader tips coming! They make this segment of my blog so much better!

Just wanted you to know you've given me another reason to love Fridays!

My weekly "reward" to myself when I go grocery shopping is the weekly issue of "Quick and Simple" by Good Housekeeping. It's the greatest! And this week's issue (with chocolate on the cover) has a whole page of freebies! There are 25 in all and some of the products are right up your alley!

Also, another way to get freebies...when you use a product and LOVE it...call the 1 800 on the box and tell them! I did this when my laundry detergent got my sons bloody nose off his brand new pj's. I called ERA and they sent me a new Swiffer duster just for commenting! I just tried the Tide to go stick and I'm crazy about it so I'm calling them next!

Dish Network Providers have some free preview weekends this month. They are offering a preview of HBO on 10/19 - 10-23 (Channels 288-295) & a Cinemax preview on 10/26 - 10-30 (Channels 288-292).
