"Great article. I used disposable with my first also and now we are on the third one in cloth. (right now we have two in cloth!) The diapers have held up great for the most part.

I recently purchased some snap covers from Mother-ease. I really like them. They are less expensive than some other brands and seem to be equal quality. I like the snaps better than velcro also.

One other tip a downy ball of vinegar in the washer helps to cut the smell down and rinse the diapers cleaner. And I agree hang those diapers on the line. The sun is the best stain remover and also takes out any lingering smell."

"I really like your article. I am using Kushies AIO with our son and love the fit and absorbancy, but we have one MAJOR problem. They smell fresh and clean after the wash but once our son wets once, the smell of ammonia comes out very strong. Any advice? (We already put a bit of vinegar in the final rinse and our using very little detergent.)"

"Amy- Have you tried adding baking soda to your wash. I would add 1/2-1 cup of baking soda to my wash (depending on the load size) and that really seemed to help with the smell. Is your little one getting plenty of fluids during the day? That can sometimes be a contributor to a strong urine smell?

I hope that helps!"
