I have had strep throat the past two days so I haven&#8217;t been cooking like I had hoped. I will be back to cooking again today though, but here are two dinner ideas in the meantime!<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Slow Cooker Night: Scalloped Potatoes with Ham<\/strong><br \/>\nServes Six<\/p>\n<p>3 lbs potatoes, peeled, thinly sliced<br \/>\n2 cups shredded cheddar cheese<br \/>\n2 cups chopped cooked ham<br \/>\n2 cans cream of chicken soup<br \/>\n1\/2 cup milk<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp garlic powder<\/p>\n<p>Place potatoes in slow cooker. Mix cheese with ham. Mix with potatoes. Mix together soup and water. Add garlic powder and spices to taste. Pour over potato mixture. Cover, cook on high 4 hours.<\/p>\n<p>*This can also be cooked in the oven at 350 degrees for 1 \u00c2\u00bd hours.*<\/p>\n<p>Makes four servings.<\/p>\n<p>Serve with a tossed salad &amp; bake-off biscuits.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amy&#8217;s Tips<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Make sure those potatoes are sliced thinner than thin or you will have uncooked potatoes in this dish.
