{"id":192,"date":"2009-04-27T07:26:27","date_gmt":"2009-04-27T15:26:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.momadvice.com\/aldi\/?p=192"},"modified":"2009-04-27T07:26:27","modified_gmt":"2009-04-27T15:26:27","slug":"parmesan-sage-pork-chops","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.momadvice.com\/aldi\/index.php\/main-dishes\/parmesan-sage-pork-chops\/","title":{"rendered":"Parmesan Sage Pork Chops"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Parmesan Sage Pork Chops<\/strong> (Courtesy of Recipezaar)<\/p>\n<p>1 1\/2 cups breadcrumbs (I used the Italian bread crumbs)<br \/>\n1 cup grated Parmesan cheese<br \/>\ntablespoon dried rubbed sage<br \/>\n1 lemon, rind of, teaspoon grated (save the lemons for squeezing over the hot chops)<br \/>\n2 large eggs, whisked<br \/>\n1\/4 cup flour, seasoned with<br \/>\nsalt and pepper<br \/>\n4 pork chops, about 1 inch thick (can use bone in or out ones)<br \/>\n1\/8-1\/4 cup butter<br \/>\n2 tablespoons olive oil<br \/>\nFresh sprinkle of parsley when you are done<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 425F degrees. Mix in bowl, bread crumbs, grated parmesan cheese, dried rubbed sage and grated lemon peel. Then, on a plate put flour seasoned with salt and pepper; coat chops with flour. Dip in egg. Then dip in bread crumb mixture. Melt butter and olive oil in a oven-proof skillet. Brown chops until golden.
