Madame_Alexander_Droll_Gracie(2)

Sorry! This giveaway is now closed! We would like to congratulate Commenter #74 (Kim) on winning this prize pack. Thanks so much for your entries and happy holidays!

When I was a little girl, my very first doll was a Madame Alexander doll from my grandmother. I named her Mimi and loved her unlike any other doll I had ever owned. She was the most special doll to me as a child and I know she was an extravagant luxury for our family.

Because Madame Alexander dolls hold such a special place in my heart, I am thrilled to be offering one lucky reader a Madame Alexander Gracie doll for the holidays!

If you can believe it, Avon has launched a beautiful holiday collection that you must check out. Not only can you get beautiful holiday dolls, but your daughter can get the exact same matching outfit and be just as decked out as her Madame Alexander doll at a very affordable price. This is Avon’s first-ever kid’s-line and you can learn more about the new holiday-inspired clothing, accessories, and gifts by finding your own Avon representative by visiting http://shop.avon.com/

To enter this giveaway, tell me why you should have this Madame Alexander Doll wrapped under your Christmas tree this year!  Entries will be taken through Tuesday (11/24) at 8PM EST. Our winner will be drawn at random. Good luck, everyone!

  1. My daughter is a doll fanatic at the tender age of 7. She took one look at the Madame Alexander dolls in an Avon catalog and immediately started oohing and ahhhing over them.

This doll would be very loved!

  6. I’m looking for a doll, the first one ever(I never played with them when I was little). The reason for this is that I want to learn my son that playing with dolls is normal. No matter if you’re a boy or a girl. Gracie from Madame Alexander looks like a girl with enough girrlpower to survive and learn to like our household.

  17. My little girl isn’t so little anymore(She’ll be sixteen in January) so I am entering this in order to hopefully win and help my sis out with Christimas. She has 3 children under 10(boy do I remember those days!) and she is trying to do it all practically on her own while being a caretaker for an elderly woman during the daytime. Gabby would be thrilled with this.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  33. This doll is adorable! If I were to win her I would give her to a little neighbor girl of my son’s. She is adopted along with 2 boys. None of them are related and they were only adopted for the money. The mother does not take very good care of the 3 and she now has a baby of her own. The 3 are left to pretty much fend for themselves. My husband and I went over and took them trick-or-treating. They had never been. We bought them costumes (which the little girl wears all of the time!). We don’t have much money to spare, but I would like to help out the kids any way I can. (The woman is also raising these 4 on her own. She got pregnant by some other man than her hubby.) Why she can have these kids and the government does nothing but give her money is beyond me. We do what we can for them without invading their privacy. They had never been hugged until our family came along. Now they look for us and come running just for a hug. The little girl is 6.

  39. My daughter is fascinated with dolls, especially the old fashioned looking ones. We recently were at a church tag sale and she wanted one of the dolls but she was unsure so didn’t pick her up to decide and another little girl grabbed it and another doll. My daughter could barely hold back her tears as she hoped the little girl would change her mind. She would be THRILLED to have a new doll under the tree.

  48. All my girls scrimped and saved to buy American Girl dolls. I never had those nice dolls growing up, not even a ‘real’ Barbie until I had almost outgrown them! I’m certain there is SOME little girl in our church our kids’ leader would know that would not have a nice Christmas. I would love to make that possible and financially not able to do that on my own.

  52. Just like you when I was little I got a few Madame Alexander dolls from my Grandmother for special occasions. I have twin daughters and it would be great to win one and only have to buy one this year due to tight finances this year. I know my Grandma would be smiling of the thought of carrying on the tradition.

  54. Growing up I had a Madame Alexander doll that sat in my closet in the box . . . I was never allowed to play with it because it was special. Now that I am a mom, I want my girls to play with everything they own! What is the purpose of having it if you cannot enjoy it? This doll would be perfect for my daughter, Gracie, to play with!

Being a single mommy who works full time, I can’t always give my three kiddos the best toys or Christmas they deserve. All I want for Christmas is a GOOD honest, Hard working man. But, please enter my kiddos is this contest.

  58. I have two girls, ages 4 and 5, who are amazingly wonderful. They share everything and love to play together. I suppose a lot of moms would feel the need for two dolls if they have two girls, but I am thankful my girls love to share everything with each other and even with their two younger brothers, ages 2 and 1. This doll would be so much fun to wrap up under the tree and give them this year. :)

  62. I have 4 precious girls of my own and this doll would be well loved and definitely go to the baby of our family!! :) AS the one who often gets hand-me-downs, it would be precious for her to have a new doll of her own!

  63. I just LOVE Madame Alexander dolls! As a little girl, my grandmother (who I miss dearly) bought my sisters and me a different Madame Alexander doll for each Christmas and birthday! I now have 3 little girls and before my grandmother passed away, she bought my oldest daughter one of the baby dolls, but sadly she never met my 2 youngest and they never received one of these dolls from my grandma. This would mean the world to me (and my girls) if we were to win this doll. This year our budget is especially tight because my husbands new job is not at all what he was promised and we have been struggling financially so much. I’ve never won anything in my entire life, but I figured it’s always worth a try!

  68. Mrs.Claus always leaves something special & “girly” under the tree. I’m not sure who would want this more, my 15 year old or my 7 year old. A Madame Alexander doll would be a wonderful addition to our house of “dolls”.

  70. My daughter is a precious girl,
who just this year turned eight.
Her dad is out a job again,
    but Christmas can’t be late.
She’s prayed for just a doll like this,
    with a beautiful Christmas dress.
T’would make her heart jump for joy,
If the answer could be yes.
So please consider my precious jewel,
When donating that doll so sweet.
If my dear child had such a doll,
    Her Christmas would be complete.
(PS- Thank you for making some child’s dream come true)
