I told you that we were offering some amazing giveaways this month and I guarantee that this is one you are going to want to enter!

Today we are giving away a Swinxs Game Console that will be the perfect gaming system…  for the family that does not want to sit in front of the television! It is the first of it’s kind because it is an interactive game that does not use a screen. Once your kids get over the shock that there is no screen (and I am sure my kids will be shocked), they can get ready to have some good old-fashioned fun in a high-tech way.

Without a screen, cords, or controllers to weigh them down, your children can feel free to play one of the ten already loaded games on the console. Games like charades, hide-and-go-seek, tag, and quizzes come installed. Want more games? No problem! Additional games are FREE and can be added by plugging in your unit and visiting the site to keep this console fresh without the additional expense.

  1. I would love the activity it creates with the kids. They would LOVE it! Kids love to be doing something, this system seems like it would provide that for them. It’s also pretty cool that they can put more games on it, that’s neat and it keeps it from becoming too boring. I hope to win!!

  8. I love that it doesn’t put you in front of the TV. We encourage our kids to do things that don’t involve the TV and this sounds like tons of fun.

  14. I love the fact that there are no extra costs. With the game systems out there now there are so many extra costs. Kids are always wanting new games and they are always so expensive.

  17. I like the “no hidden or additional costs” feature! Life is expensive enough as it is these days without having to be constantly purchasing new things to go with your new thing.

  18. My favorite feature would be the free games! Games are typically so expensive that it makes it challenging to keep the game system interesting. Not the case with this one! Sounds wonderful!

  31. I love that this is an active game. We love Hullabaloo and I am sure my kids would love this too. I also love that you can download new games and activities for free. We do not have a gaming system right now because of our limited income for a family of 5, so free game downloads would be a blessing!

  35. I was a little skeptical (another new game system?!) until I read about it – yay for old-school games! Our boys still like tag & hide & go seek, but their friends are console junkies. My favorite part is that kids can introduce their friends to “new” old games!

  52. I love that it is lightweigt and portable. My daughter has a muscle disorder and since it is lightweight this would be perfect for her. Since you can use it indoor or outdoor, then this would let her play outside more often!

I thought my kids were watching too much t.v. so I got rid of satellite… I hate seeing my children sit inside staring at a television, practically drooling… this is a game I would totally approve of!   61. I’m impressed that Swinxs has received an award from Creative Child magazine..a highly respected parenting publication in addition to 3 other major awards. Love the fact that it is a game that doesn’t involve just one or two players…practically the whole neighborhood could join in! This game even has a built in referee (which sometimes the kids really need!)
    A big plus is that it is screen-free, so Swinxs could be brought outdoors on a deck or patio in nice weather. Looking forward to seeing this toy in action. As a grandparent, we like to get toys that have developmental and educational factors, and not just something boring that will be forgotten the next day.

  62. I love that there are 4 wristbands and no added costs to game download. This would be terrific to win for the kids. It sounds like it is an extended version of the hyperdash which my kids enjoy and encourages them to get up and move around.

  67. I love the idea that once you purchase the original system you do not have to keep purchasing more and more games but just download the ones you want. The only extra out of pocket expense would be the wrist bands since I would definitely want to have ten on hand. I also like the portability of the unit.

  69. I love the fact that there is zero T.V. involved! that is a miracle. My husband is a video game addict and I’m afraid he could be teaching this bad habit to our son. so this could help both of them have some good fun away from the t.v. or as I call it (the zombie cube) this is a great idea! thanks so much for reviewing this, it would be great for our family!

  83. This sounds awesome! I am totally against gaming systems that you sit in front of the TV & get carpal tunnel. They are banned from our house! I was thinking about a WII but they are so expensive with everything you have to buy to go with it! This is absolutely awesome!

  97. I love that it encourages “Old Fashioned” play. Get up and move kind of play. It’s not often I can engage my kids in tag or hide and seek, but with electronics fueling the game I bet we’d play more! More play equals more quality family time and less cell phones. It’s a win win situation!

  105. I think the best feature of this would be NO TV!!! My kids don’t own a SINGLE video game system, there has been an old Game Boy Color that used to be my brothers that has come out once in awhile but it doesnt last long because of the Zombie effect… I don’t even think the Wii is good enough…. This game system would be perfect for my kids because it would keep them ACTIVE and playing TOGETHER!!!
