I just found out that my four year old granddaughter likes Madeline. I had almost forgotten that my daughter had read a few books of Madeline when she was young. I know that she would enjoy the plush doll. I can picture her playing with it now…enjoying that it also has some French phrases.

My daughter would love to have this doll. She turns 3 two days after christmas it would be a wonderful present for her. She loves to learn and this doll can teach her some French.

I just think of her as a classic doll that every little girl should have.

Thats the only book my daughter wants me to read to her every night. I sort of think its special that we get to share her special adventures at bed time. How fun to have a little doll to hold while we read the story.

My twins are 7 1/2 & have been showing an interest in foreign languages, so this would be neat for them to have….& they are showing more of an interest in dolls than their older bros boys toys;);););)

My Kindergartener loves Madeline books, so I am sure a stuffed doll to go with the books would be very welcome under our Christmas tree.

My youngest daughter, Briann, is captivated by Madeline who’s mischievious yet helpful. I love the honesty of Madeline’s character which shows her to have flaws yet she’s still the heroine.

Before my mom passed away a couple years ago, she gave my daughter Hailey a Madeline doll that she had been saving for her. It has since seen its day, but we obviously would not give it up! I would love to win this for my neighbor. She has a 4 yr old little girl and she lost her job last month and her husband has just been laid off indefinitely. My husband was born in France and we would love to teach our daughter about the culture there. I read the books as a child also.

My daughter is Madeline-obsessed. We have checked all the books out from the library, and we often “play madeline” by pretending we are the characters in the book. (Usually, I have to be Genevieve, the dog.) This doll is adorable! I know Juliet would love it.

I love Madeline, I’ve been learning French since I was 16 and one of my dreams is to one day take a mom and daughter trip with my little Emma… I’m waiting for the right time… I love Madeline… that character might be one of the biggest reasons why I fell in love with the whole Paris thing!

When I was pregnant with her, the “Madeline” movie was just coming out. We had picked her name before we knew this, and one day when we were at this gift shop, they had a display for the movie set up. In huge words, it said, “Coming Soon: Madeline!”

We laughed and laughed because she was going to be born any day. It’s a great memory and we love to tell Maddie about it. We also love to get her Madeline dolls.

My aunt has taught French for more than 20 years. She takes middle- and high-school kids on summer field trips to France and has hosted several exchange students. She loves all things French and has introduced my own daughters to the culture. Last year, she bought a miniature Madeline tea set for my youngest daughter.
