Giveaway Results: $25 Bonefish Grill Gift Card

Bonefish Grill

Sorry! This giveaway is now closed! Congratulations to Jeannine (Commenter #7) on winning this gift card! Please check back each Tuesday for a brand new giveaway!

I am so excited about this week’s giveaway because it is to one of my favorite restaurants. Bonefish recently issued a Seafood Challenge to discover if Bonefish offers the best seafood around. I accepted the Bonefish challenge and was sent a $25 Bonefish gift card as well as a $25 Visa gift card to use at another seafood restaurant, and then compared the two.

We took their challenge and Bonefish was definitely the clear winner here.  Living in Indiana has made me long for the seafood selection and fresh taste that we used to have on the East coast. The closest thing in our town to fresh has been Bonefish and they deliver some of the best seafood I have ever had the pleasure of eating. If you don’t believe me, sample some of their Bang Bang Shrimp or the Grilled Tilapia with Lemon Butter Sauce. It is truly delicious! There hasn’t been a dish there that I have tried that I did not enjoy.

Lucky for you, I get to share a great giveaway so you can sample some of the fresh seafood fare at Bonefish Grill!

Bonefish would like you to know about a new You Tube channel they have launched. You can now join Bonefish Grill’s founder Tim Curci on a series of culinary journeys from sea to table in a brand new series of five Webisodes.  Watch as Tim and friends venture out in the Gulf of Mexico, discover the secrets of oyster farming, and prepare a decadent grilled feast. We wanted to share with you just one of the fantastic videos and you can view the rest on the Bonefish Grill Videos channel or through the Bonefish Facebook Page.

Want to sample the food yourself? You can enter to win a $25 Gift Card to Bonefish Grill today! To enter to win, leave a comment by Tuesday (10/06) at 8PM EST and tell me one thing you would like to see on MomAdvice in the upcoming year! Good luck!

  1. I cannot imagine improving MomAdvice..it’s such an “it” site already. As a mom, I find tons of great tips for being frugal and family friendly. There’s one F missing in there though.. FASHION. :) How do we balance looking fashionable with our frugal-ness and mom-ness? It would be great to have a week of Frugal Fashiony Finds for Families. But again, I love all your MomAdvice already. Best of luck to you and thanks for a great opportunity / giveaway.

    In fashion and friendship,
    Ina

  2. Hi Amy! I would love to see ideas on parenting such as behavior modification ideas, rewards, chores/pay, and how to have those difficult conversations with the kiddos.

    You are awesome!

  3. Hmm, hard to think of an improvement, but I’d love more articles on organization – this is an area I can always use more help with!

  4. Yum. We love Bonefish. I would like to see more about parenting challenges that you work though, discipline, allowances, chores, etc. I’d like the site to stay focused on momadvice, rather than craft projects.

  5. Mmm. I’ve always wanted to go to Bonefish. This would be a perfect excuse! I’d like advice on how you shop for your kids – clothes, shoes, gifts, gear, etc. (where, when, how much, good deals…)

  9. It would be great to see articles about entertaining on a budget. I do okay in the summer when I can fall back on BBQs and outdoor activites, but the winter months leave me stumped. I would also love to find some great indoor ideas for kids’ birthday parties without having to pay for an expensive venue.

  10. I’d love to try Bonefish! I love your site, it’s great as is. I’d like to see you feature more “me time” stuff. None of us Mom’s take enough time for just us. Give ideas on how to treat ourselves special and how to relax and recharge.

Thanks for the chance to win.

  17. You’ve talked before about how you juggle everying (family, house, friends, working etc) and I know you schedule is getting busier and made some changes recently.

I’d like to see more about how to juggle it all. Cuz you sure seem like you get it all done! I focus on my son/family, work, house stuff in that order. Friends are pretty much out of it unless I can catch up with them at work/lunch! But I miss my friends & my me time!

Now that I have a 2nd baby on the way, I know it will only get crazier.

  61. I really enjoy MomAdvice, even though my “kids” are grown, and I’m the grandmother of two precious girls. I love to read MomAdvice so that when I come across something that would interest my daughter…I send it on to her!
What I would love to see in your column occasionally is something pertaining to grandparents. It could be advice from the parenting point of view concerning how involved we should be…when it would be appreciated that we mind our own business, or how we can help out more without seeming like we are interfering. Also, we’d love to know a parent’s view on grandparents and spoiling of grandchildren.

    Posted by Kathy S | October 3, 2009, 5:33 am
  62. I’d love to see recipes for healthy frugal foods! It seems most places offer recipes in abundance, but very few that combine money-saving and nutrition (i.e. breakfast bakes are great and cheap, but not so good for you if one serving is pretty all of your daily caloric and sat-fat intake).

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  69. I absolutely LOOOOOVE Bonefish! The food is wonderful!!! My husband and I could sure use a “date-night” there! Well i am a NEW-B, this is my first time on this site and there seems tobe a lot of interesting topics and opportunities. As a mom of 2 (7 mos and 9yrs) and a step-mom of 2 (9 and 11) it’s always great to hear about creative and inexpensive ways to put the demands of famil life off to the side and just enjoy and embrace time alone, or with the kids and the family (no agenda, just good ole fashion fun). It’s encouraging to be allowed to just let down our hair for a while :D ..Don’t you think so ladies/moms!!!

Great site, I am really enjoying it! (I’ll enjoy Bonefish even more :D !!!!)

  76. My husband and I are having our 14th anniversary this month and going to BoneFish Grill would make our day. We are still a young couple with four kids ranging in ages 13, 11, 8, and 2 year old. We have struggled tremendiously from the get-go at age 18 when I first had my child. It is always so informative to read about the things I can get for my family at a great deal. With how the economy is going it helps to be frugal esp with four kids. I love how you incorporate it all with a hectic family life which all of us endure every day. Keep up the great work cuz you are doing a fabulous job!
