I have 3 month old twin girls and, as you can imagine, I take a million pictures a day. We live in Arkansas but have family in Nebraska, so pictures are the best way for us to keep them updated on how fast the girls are growing. I never thought I would be this into photography, but with 2 of the cutest subjects in the world, it is hard not to be.

Another important thing, of course, is to preserve those pictures. I’m currently in the process of collecting old pictures (i.e. scavenging the attic) and digitizing them. It’s really fun to find old snapshots of the past that I didn’t even know existed; likewise, I was able to reconnect with my old, deceased, or just long-lost relatives who just by finding those old photographs.

We would love a new camera. We always seem to have pictures of blurry kids!

I have always been into photography, even more so now since my son came along and spending much more time at home.. I just love looking at photos. I find that you can learn a lot about someone by asking to see some photos.

I document SOOOOO much on my blog and take tons of pictures. I recently dropped my camera & now the battery case doesn’t stay shut right and sometimes won’t turn on and some sand got in the lens area and won’t zoom. I still use it because I haven’t found a new one to buy. I currently have a Kodak Easyshare 7mp and am looking at the 10mp & 12 mp as my new one. I really like the Kodak Easyshare. It has a been a good camera to me and is so easy to use.

3 Kids, and NO camera! Life has been ridiculously hard the past few years………this would be a blessing! I could finally stop relying on family!

My Kodak Easyshare does not save photos to a camera card so I can only take a few photos at a time then upload them to the PC. Would love to win this!

I love this camera as well…I had a really good camera, and it broke. Then my computer crashed and every pic I had ever taken of my children have been LOST! I can’t get them back!!! We’re recently had a death in the family… our camera passed away suddently! It was an older digital camera that my husband gave me for mother’s day a couple of years ago. The saddest part is that because of our recent financial situation… we cannot afford to buy another one right now. My children are so little (Sarah Ruth is 2 1/2 and AJ is 11 months) and I feel that I am missing moments that I will never get back. Pictures bring back the fond memories of your past. My sister-in-law is always sending me pictures of my niece from her cell phone so that I can stay involved as she grows up. This is such a wonderful gift to win. Photos is such an important thing to help capture those life long memories. To be able to look back and remember is the most wonderful feeling anyone can have. With a camera like this anyone would be able to take amazing photos and build many old and new memories to share with family and friends.

Due to the recession, I do not have a job at the moment and I would LOVE to be able to have a camera to take pictures of my son (who is 5 months.) I have never had a camera before (unless you count the disposable ones) but I know that I was to win this camera I would not take it for granted and I would take sooo much good care of it. My little boy shoots claymation movies, which of course are shot on a still camera, not a movie camera. He just turned 12. He always has to borrow a camera to make his movies. Man would he love to have his own camera! He just got a laptop for free from the Education is Freedom foundation for being the valedictorian of his 6th grade class, and he uses it to edit his movies together. He saved up his money and bought his own speakers, and microphone. Now he just needs the camera. He is working on a movie to enter in a big regional science competition.

Being able to take fast pictures of two year old twins would be a great thing. They are always running in two different directions and with a quick reliable camera I could get great pictures and memories to keep forever.

A photograph is a memory captured within shapes of color or black and white. It is a hint at yesterdays past, a piece of a moment forgotten.

Within it’s frame lies the essence of a human soul, the kindness of a friend, the love of a mother and child. A moment of “firsts” that will never happen again.

A photograph contains a fragment of a moment. The memory of a time prior or of a time forgotten long after it was captured.
A photograph may reveal a loving smile long since faded or look of hatred never seen.

Photographs show us out past and possibly or future, to call such a significant artifact a picture is an injustice to the memory.

LOVE Kodak. I have never had the pleasure of owning a digital Kodak but have had a couple of 35 mm cameras. wish that is what I had now. kodak is definitely the best camera out there.

We have just moved to a beautiful home in the country, a place we’ve dreamed of living for many years. We are happy to have this lovely old home but it has meant living hours from our parents and our grown children. I am a singer/songwriter who, along with my husband the RN, sings at nursing homes to entertain the residents with our original music. We had a band, played with many greats over the years but now it’s just the two of us. We like to take photos of us singing with the residents and give them out to them for souveniers. Right after the band split up last year, the digital camera we had (that came with our computer) died out. It can’t be repaired we are told. One of the younger residents actually drew a picture of us resently so that they could have something… it’s so sad! (but it was a great picture!!) We are working on a new website (to replace the old one) but it’s under construction right now. Thanks for all you do, Kodak- we have used more of your film over the years than we can say! (with our older Kodak camera that is also broken… we have a camera graveyard in the drawer!).

I have all but given up on trying to organize the traditional hard copy’s of pictures.I have found that if I organize the pictures I take from a digital camera and save them by category on separate memory cards it makes a world of difference and time. I made scrapbook pages and collage’s and such to send to family and friends. And when you want to send just certain pictures to some on you don’t have to search fro them. (just remember to give each photo a name and date!) My digital camera has see its days so a new one would be fantastic!

I couldn’t agree more–the power of technology (including photography) can really strengthen relationships. My husband is in the US Army and our family is stationed in Seoul, Korea right now. I was steam mopping my floor last month and stopped to pick up my baby daugther. My son, in the meantime, got the steam mop and started mopping away. Little did he know that pulling the cord would “swipe” everything off the kitchen counter…..including my digital camera AND video camera! Both broke. How do you yell at a 4 year old who is just trying to help mommy with her chores?

We have/had KODAK Cameras for years. The ease of use & uploading photos is great. My parents always took photos and kept ‘picture books’ of all us kids. I still look back on them and I am so grateful that they did this. Looking at pictures of yourself as a baby, along with pictures of relatives who have passed is something that is priceless. I hope to keep this going for my kids, and hopefully grandkids. Photos are irreplaceable and capture a million words!
