Giveaway Results: A Year’s Supply of Campbell’s Chicken & Stars Soup

Thank you all for entering. All I can say is, Wow! You guys love some soup! We would like to congratulate Commenter #115 (Sarah) on winning this prize pack for her family. Thank you all for taking the time to enter and please check back each Tuesday for a new contest.

After getting the opportunity to tour the Campbell’s facility,  I can honestly say that this is a company that truly stands behind offering good nutrition to families at affordable prices. I was so thrilled that they contacted me to see if we would be interested in hosting a giveaway with them, and I believe you are really going to enjoy this one!

For one lucky reader, we are giving away a year’s supply of Campbell’s Chicken & Stars Soup with Reduced Sodium (24 cans) and a Campbell’s Soup thermos so that your kids can take their soup on-the-go.

Campbell’s has been working very hard to lower the sodium in their kid’s soups and to still offer the same great flavor that they are known for. We got to do a taste-testing on these soups and barely any of us guessed correctly because it is that difficult to tell which had the lower sodium. I know your kids will enjoy these soups just as much as my children do and I hope you can get the opportunity to sample their new lower-sodium varities that are being stocked at local supermarkets now.

  1. My favorite soup is Cream of Chicken.I remember serving Chicken and Stars to my children when they were younger. Now that I have grandkids, I guess I should start having in my pantry again.

    Cooking soup: golden mushroom. It’s like cream of mushroom but with better flavor.

  9. Chicken and Stars has always been my favorite since it’s what my mother gave us when we were little and not feeling well. Eating some can make me feel cared for all over again.

  11. I love Cheddar Cheese soup. You can cook tons of things with it in the crock pot or just eat it plain. It’s great to pour over leftover rice for a hot lunch also!

  18. My fav is actually Chicken and Stars! It has been since I was little. I love eating it when I have a cold, the flu, or just need something warm and comforting! My girls love it as well :) .

My favorite soup is Campbell’s Chicken and Stars as a matter of fact..and my 9 year old son’s favorite soup is the same…in fact he has stomach problems and frequently has an upset stomach and just about the only thing he will eat is Chicken and Stars, so we usually have a ton of it in the house!

  119. Tomato!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!with saltines. Nothing is more survival food than this. No matter what, there is always tomato soup and saltines in the house. Fast, easy, filling…tastes great.Couldn’t be simpler.

  135. Wow! I don’t know if I can choose just one! I adore tomato soup with grilled cheese. I have fond memories of frequently sharing a can of chicken and stars with my little sister when we were pre-schoolers. Now chicken and stars is my youngest son’s favorite. My oldest son loves the homestyle chicken and noodle. My husband loves beef soup. I love to have vegetable and beef or chicken and rice for lunch. I often use cream of chicken, celery, or mushroom in my recipes. We are definitely a Campbell’s family!

  149. My favorite soup is Campbell’s Select Healthy Request Mexican-Style Chicken Tortilla Soup. Best of all is it in those great to go microwave bowls. I really love how they added the black beans and red peppers it gives the soup an extra zip. Furthermore at our grocery store in Wv. they often have these soup as a 10 for 10 deal! With a coupon it is an awesome treat. I know it is new and not so much a traditional type soup but it really adds a bit of spice to your busy day!

  184. I really love Split Pea soup. It brings back memories from college when my roommate and I would sit in our dorm room and eat it. She was the only other person I know that ate it. Yum! I am also a big fan of Tomato soup. We eat tomato soup with grilled cheese about once a month. Chicken and stars is also a very yummy flavor. I love eating chicken soup with ritz crackers. Very good!

As a kid, I remember my mom buying it for me whenever I was sick (I requested it, even though, she made the best chicken soup from scratch :) I also love cream of chicken and I use it in plenty of recipies (chicken and brown rice..YUM!

  207. I have very fond memories of my mom feeding me Campbell’s Chicken & Stars Soup whenever I had a bad day or did not feel well. I did the same thing with my son growing up.
    Now, we use most of the Campbell’s cream soups to cook recipes with and really enjoy eating Campbell’s Tomato soup. We not only eat Campbell’s tomato soup with a sandwich but it is also the base for my homemade chili recipe! I would be so lost without the “help” of the many flavors of Campbell’s soups! Thank you for a wonderful product that I can always trust and rely on!

  226. Chicken noodle! My mother died when I was 11 years old, so I have few memories of her but one of them was she would always make me a can of chicken noodle soap to make me feel better. So I carry that tradition to my kids when they are sick.It reminds me of my mom and tastes great!

  240. Tomato soup and vegtable beef soup with 6 kids at home it satisfies everybodys taste. Quick and easy my grandson thinks it the best dinner ever. Throw in the mix a grilled cheese sandwich and you have a complete meal. It has to be campbells because every other brand has an off taste. It one of the few things I always buy brand name.

When I get sick or my grandchildren are feeling feverish I just cook up a couple of cans of Campbell’s Chicken and Stars soup. Of course, it is great with a grilled cheese sandwich anytime, but if you are feeling icky it is the best thing in the world to have a piping hot bowl of Campbell’s Chicken and Stars soup…it is truly mmmmmmmm good!

  270. When I was in kindergarten we had morning or afternoon classes. I was in the afternoon class. My dad worked nights and the only time I really got to spend any time with him was at lunch before I had to go to afternoon class. What I remember most was sitting at the table with him talking and he always fed me chicken and stars soup with a sandwich. That made chicken and stars soup my favorite of all because my dad made it for me. Now I’m 34 and I smile when I remember the delicious warm soup and warm feelings on those afternoon lunches.

  392. You know my new favorite Campbell’s soup is Campbell’s Tomato Soup. My friend, Sarah, makes it with milk, then adds in a lot of dried basil and mini seashell pasta. It takes Campbell’s Tomato Soup and makes it a super delectable tomato bisque. She serves it with grilled cheese sandwiches and I feel like I’m eating out at a fancy restaurant. So tomato is my new favorite Campbell’s soup! The old favorite was cream of mushroom, because of the multitude of recipes it can be used in including chicken rice casserole, and green bean casserole. Yumm! Yumm!

When I moved into my first apartment, my aunt gave me her recipes using this wonderful soup and I made the mushroom chicken bake for my husband when we first got back together, after college.   442. Campbell’s vegetable soup. When I was pregnant for my 26 year old son, we were pretty poor. I remember all I could afford was Campbell’s Vegetable Soup. They were like 3 cans for $1.00. I brought it for lunch every single day with some crackers. I remember being so grateful that I had it and I don’t ever remember thinking I didn’t love it. It is definately a comfort meal for me. AND was a staple for me when I didn’t have any money. I can not see a can of that soup without smiling! CAMPBELLS ROCKS!

  448. My favorite Campbell’s soup iis actually two, CAMPBELL’S CREAM OF CHICKEN AND CREAM OF MUSHROOM. I don’t know of any two more adaptable soups than these two. You can add them to most anything you are cooking or just simple add milk or water and eat them by themselves. I depend on these soups for all the help in riding this family of colds and other air-borne illness’ seems to me like.

  476. I cook a lot of our food with either the Cream of Chicken or the Cream of Mushroom..and it never fails to turn out delicious. One of my favorite things to do is to mix the Chicken and Stars with Chicken and Rice. You know, when I was only two, my mother fed me Campbell’s soups and 43 years later, I’m still eating and loving it! And so are my boys.

  521. My favorite Campbell soup would be cream of shrimp. I found out about it when I had a car accident in ‘86. I had to have my mouth wired for 8 weeks, so I could only have liquids and some foods like jello, pudding, and the soups had to be broth or cream. So therefore my mom knew I was craving seafood because that is my favorite food and she found the cream of shrimp soup and the rest is history.

You can make it with milk or water or both. You can make it with a little water and lots of cheese and put it over bread or crackers. THE BEST!!!!!!

Every day it is the same thing no matter what her choices are-it is Chicken Vegetable Soup. The funniest thing to me is that she will not eat the broth so for lunch every day she eats the chicken and vegetables while I eat the broth. It will always carry a special meaning to me.

  560. This is a hard one. There are so many Campbell soups I love. But I guess tomato wins. I love it plain, with crackers, or with grilled cheese sandwiches. I’m especially glad that Campbell’s is reducing the sodium in their soups because I don’t like alot of salt for myself or my family.

  562. I personally prefer cream of potato. It makes a fantastic base for homemade potato soup. I just put in the cubed cooked potatoes, cheese and chopped onion with the cream of potato soup. Mix till all hot and wonderful. Yum, yum!!!

    As for Chicken and Stars soup, my granddaughter swears by it. Will not eat any other kind. So it would be nice to have a cabinet full.

  595. My favorite is chicken noodle. This was the soup my mom fed me as a little girl whenever I was sick. Just the smell brings back all the best memories of my mom taking extra special care of me. I now make it for my own children all the time for snacks, lunch or dinner. Hopefully, they will have the same fond memories when they get older.

  619. My favorite soup is campbell’s tomato soup. My grandmother made a dish called “grind meat and noodles”. It has been a favorite for three generations. Now that I have a family I make it for them. This soup reminds me of what her house would smell like on a sturday afternoon when we would all get together. For her recipe you can only use Campbells! my kids and I think of her whenever I make this for dinner.
