Giveaway Results: $50 Walmart Gift Card

Wow, I can’t believe we had this many entries, but I just want to thank each of you for taking the time to leave a comment and let me know what you would like to see covered here. I pulled one of the hot topics out of the hat and covered a holiday gift guide for men (all gifts under $20) that was requested by you. I will continue working through this extensive list and I hope you will continue visiting our site!

I want to congratulate commenter #812, Pam B., on winning this gift card. She was chosen at random and had this idea for our site:

“What a blessing a $50 Walmart card would be for holiday shopping! I would love to read more information about organizing my coupons. I have been couponing and refunding for over 30 years, but no matter what I have tried, the paper overwhelms me! There are so many coupons to sort through and file. So far, the best way for me has been to file my coupons in a recipe box divided by tabs (example: Paper Products) then into mini categories (example: Toilet Tissue/Kleenex, Paper Towels/Napkins, Plates/Cups, Wrap/Bags). But I am looking for a better way. I need to save every penny I can, but sometimes I don’t even feel like bothering with my coupons anymore. They really do save me a lot of money, but there has to be a better, easier way!”

We look forward to answering these and many more questions this year. Thank you all for participating and check back each and every Tuesday for fun giveaways!

Sorry- this giveaway has ended!

Walmart wants our readers to have the best holiday season with the lowest prices so they are offering to our readers (in conjunction with my job as an Eleven Mom) the opportunity to win a $50 gift card that will be put towards your holiday shopping/grocery shopping this year.

Just think what you could do with $50 to put towards your holiday shopping? I can already picture myself loading up on goodies for all my cookie trays this year. Unfortunately, I can’t win, but you can!

Please leave a comment by Tuesday (11/18) at 8PM with one topic you would like to see covered on our site/blog. Only entries that follow the guidelines will be entered and I thank you for giving me some content to cover in the new year! Good luck to each of you and may your holiday season be truly blessed!

I know we have to cut costs everywhere these days, but I hate feeling like I’m giving up everything that’s ‘fun’ to stay on budget. I guess I’d like to see more ways to feel pampered while staying on budget. (Like your chai tea recipe…. b/c Starbucks and even Dunkin Donuts seem like extras we should skip!)

  156. You’ve already done a post about inexpensive photo cards for Christmas. Normally that would be awesome for us, as we’re photo-card-senders, too. But this year with the high cost of, well, everything and no stable income, we can’t afford even the postage on the cards. So… how about some frugality-etiquette? Is there a dignified way to send out your normally signed sealed and delivered Christmas letter… as an email?

  167. I would love to see more articles about how moms can help their children stay on a healthy diet. With our society’s fast paced lifestyle these days, it can be quite a challenge to make sure our children are eating right. It’s also sometimes hard to steer them away from the processed foods and sugary treats. I always encourage my daughter to choose an apple or some carrots, but she often wants the crackers, chips or popcorn instead. Thanks! Happy Holidays!

  811. What a blessing a $50 Walmart card would be for holiday shopping! They really do save me a lot of money, but there has to be a better, easier way!

1105. Hi! I’d like to see tips on sibling rivalry–my kids are 4 and 2 and its something we deal with on a daily basis, even though they are young. I wish I could put a stop to it now before it gets worse as they get older.

1108. Potting training…what do you do when they “say” they need to “go” when they’re already in bed and you know they are at ‘that stage’ when they will say anything to get out of bed or out of their bedroom?

1109. I would love to see you do a post on how to involve children, as young as 3,4, and 5, in service activities to those less fortunate. I would love to hear your ideas on helping children learn to give to others in age appropriate ways. I so want to teach this to my children, but I want to do it in a way that really engages them and makes an impact at a young age. Thank you!

1110. I would love to see an area or more info on coupons- where to find them- clip outs or printables and the bet pleaces to use them. I always hear about mothers making these awesome grocery trips- a whole cart for $ kinda thing but they never share with you how it’s done.

1111. I would like to see an article for newbies that tell you how to save money printing coupons, save time finding coupons, save ink printing coupons. I am spending a lot of all of that and I would find it helpful. Also, how do you get autofill onto your computer.

1120. This is going to be a very tough Christmas for our family, not just because of the financial crach we are all experiencing, but mostly beacause my mother was just diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer and is going thru radiation and chemo all thru Nov and Dec, ending on Dec. 31. If I won the $50 Walmart card, I woul purchase a Christmas tree for her and use the rest of the money to stock her pantry/fridge with ingredients to make her soup and anything else she can eat to keep up her strength.. Thanks

1126. I would love to see activities and crafts for preschool age children. My boyys love to ‘craft’ but are only 2 and 3 so most crafts we find are a little advanced.
