We love They Might Be Giants. Good for the kids and adults, just like Laurie Berkner.

Right now it’s all “Bob and Larry”, “Bob and Larry” ALL the time!!!

Having heard of Laurie Berkner but not actually listened to any of the music (until now, anyway), I’d love to win this. In our house, the Wiggles rule between the ages of 1 and 2. My 3-year-old has outgrown them, but when he was the age that my youngest is now, a crying jag in the car could almost always be soothed by Greg Wiggle’s calming voice. The Wiggles work on our youngest as well, thank goodness. I couldn’t tell you how many times my husband and I have thanked God for the Wiggles!

My kids LOVE Laurie! Actually, I do as well. They are just starting to listen to Hannah Montana but I prefer the kid stuff that Laurie has to offer for now.

SUPER FUN! Oh, our favorite is Mission to Mars by the backyardigans right now, it’s the one song that my son will dance to in the car.

We love Laurie. Ralph’s world is also a big hit at our house, and our favorite bedtime music is Kenny Loggins Return to Pooh Corner!

Our daughter loves Laurie Berkner and Dan Zanes! Also, They Might Be Giants. Music we (parents) enjoy too!

My son’s original music love was the Wiggles. He’s moved on a bit…his new favorites include the Beach Boys, Elvis, and Jack Johnson.

We love Laurie also. We are the Dinosaurs is my 3 years old favorite song. My 5 year old is starting to get into Hanna Montana and High School musical, but she still enjoys listening to Laurie Berknery on her MP3 player.

Laurie Berkner is a huge hit (though, she’s known as the Victor Vito lady around these parts). Also Dan Zanes, Ralph’s World, They Might Be Giants, Jack Johnson and those old novelty songs from the 60s like Splish Splash, The Name Game, etc. Basically anything my little guy can shake his booty to! Mr Stinky Feet is a favorite here. My 2 boys often argue over who we listen to in the car. My 4 year old loves Laurie Berkner while my 2 year old loves Mr Stinky Feet. Other favorites are Dan Zanes, Funky Mama, and They Might Be Giants.

We are big fans of Laurie Berkner and anyone on Jack’s Big Music Show! My son loves dancing and singing with all the guests on the show, but Laurie is a regular, so he loves her!

We love the Kindermusik cd’s. There is always a great variety.

My son loves anything with Herry Monster from Sesame Street. Our favorite CD is the Monster Hits.

We just saw They Might Be Giants in concert. Fun for the whole family. We also like Laurie Berkner. And not technically kids music but fun: Peter Paul & Mary, The Beatles and The Beach Boys.

We love Laurie Berkner in this house! We recently bought the Barenaked Ladies kids CD and the kids (and I) absolutely love it!

Actually Laurie Berkner is our favorite music! It is some of the only music our kids like that I enjoy too. They Might Be Giants is a close second.

We’re just starting to get into listening to a lot of music… we need to increase our collection! We mostly just sing silly songs, and I do like the Jack Johnson Curious George soundtrack.

Ooh! My daughter is a fan of the older Laurie Berkner cds that we have from a few years ago, and I’m sure she’d love the new songs just as much.

We also love Barenaked Ladies, They Might Be Giants, Trout Fishing in America, Jack Johnson, etc. My son is a huge fan of stories on cd, so we’re building up our collection of the amazing storyteller Jim Weiss.

We love Laurie Berkner and the Wiggles too. My kids are also big fans of Jack’s Big Music Show, they love to sing and dance along.

We were They Might Be Giants fans WAAY before we had kids and love them even more now. We also love Laurie, Ralph’s World, and Sesame Street music.

My kids favorites are the Sandra Boyton books/CDs like Dog Train. The also love Laurie Berkner’s Goldfish song and We Are the Dinasaurs.

My daughter LOVES Elmo’s World….lalalala.lalalala. elmo’s world……I find my self also singing it more then I would like to admit!

WE LOVE THE LAURIE BERKNER BAND!! Also, Psalty CDs, Christian radio programs, etc.

I’m gonna have to say They Might Be Giants ABCs as well, both my kids and I love this funky music. It’s so cool to see bands we grew up listening to start making music for kids as they start families as well.

We love Laurie Berkner! My kids sing Victor Vito all the time and her moon song is our daughter’s favorite lullaby!

Just had VBS so that cd is in our player. Also classical–the kids love to pick out the different instruments. The Wiggles still get fair play and Laurie Berkner and Ralph’s World are requested as well. My son has the soundtrack to the Transformers movie and my daughter likes Shakira and anything with a Latin beat. They are six and three and if it isn’t kid music–they get an eclectic blend from us.

We listen to Mary Rive Hopkins… a little outdated but help to get everyone in the bath and to brush their teeth!

My kids (9 and 6) have always loved Jimmy Buffett, but have always liked Tom Chapin as well.

We love all kinds of music in our house. I put together theme mixes everyonce in a while for the children. Right now we are loving our summer mix which includes Bottle of Sunshine by Milkshake, Bumblebee by Laurie Berkner, You are my sunshine by Joanie Leeds, and Family Day by Ralph’s World. My 6 month old laughs every time we play Justin Roberts’ CD Meltdown! He loves it.

We’ve been listening to Bible sing-a-long songs and Baby Einstein around here. We’ve heard Laurie Berkner on the commercials on Sprout and would love to have some of her music to play, too!

My kids love a Fisher Price Little People CD that is full of kids’ songs. Their favorite is “She’ll be Comin’ Around the Mountain”.

We love They Might Be Giants, Raffi, The Imagination Movers, and of course Laurie Berkner. Actually, we love anything that the whole family can sing loudly to and dance around like crazy.

Laurie and Jack’s Big Music Show is our ABSOLUTE FAVORITE around here. My 2 year old loves to dance and sing along with Laurie.

My boys LOVE Christian music. I love that we can turn on a great Christian station and we can all listen to music we enjoy. My boys also love anything silly (like many already listed by people here). They love to dance and be silly to all of their favorite songs. They also love to sing those songs too. It warms my heart to hear them all in the backseat singing away together, no background music, just the joy in their little hearts! =)

We love Raffi over here. I used his music a lot when I was a 1st grade teacher and now sing it a lot with my kids.

We like all kinds of music in our house. Right now, Hannah Montana and The Jonas Brothers are a big hit!

Music helps lighten the mood all year long – but I especially love Christmas music during the Holidays!

During the rest of the year, my son begs for “the running song”, actually it is Linus & Lucy from Charlie Brown and we run around the living room until it is over – it is over 7 minutes long! Play it twice and you are 1/2 way to a workout!

My boys LOVE “Friend in Me” from their favorite movie….Toy Story. We’re big Laurie fans too!

we have a lemon twists cd. they play punk versions of classic kids songs like “bingo” and itsy bitsy spider!

My daughter is 4 and she has loved Laurie Berkner Band all her life! We had a DVD, but we lost it. Cedarmount Kids (produced by Mike and Sue Martin Gay) is another favorite of ours. We listen to any one of 5 CD’s we have in the car virtually every day. Action Bible Songs (I’m in the Lord’s Army, etc.) and Toddler Tunes (The Alphabet Song, etc.)are her top requests.

My girls love lots of kids music! Their choice of music ranges from Dora/Diego to the Backyardigans to Laurie Berkner to They Might Be Giants. Anything that gets them moving and grooving (and Laurie is great for that!) is a big hit!

We sing all sorts of songs, but Laurie Burkner band is our favorite.

We love all the favorites….Laurie Berkner is big, as is Jack Johnson (the kids really like that Curious George soundtrack!). The newest favorite is the new Barenaked Ladies children’s cd. I’m a HUGE BNL fan and so I, of course, wanted my kids to love them, too! Now my 3 yr old’s favorite song happens to be “Sexyback”…I think ’cause she likes to dance to it. And my oldest is asking to go to a Jonas Brothers concert! Oy!

My kids love the Jungle Book soundtrack right now. Otherwise they like Laurie Berkner, Dan Zanes, Veggie Tales, Cedarmont Kids, Raffi and jazz.

My favorites for the kids are the Justin Roberts cds (any of them – but “Dad caught Stars” is a real favoirte), Tom Chappin (love the Mozart duet number). My 4 yo daughter is currently obsessed with the Cars soundtrack and Five For Fighting’s cd with “Fifteen” on it!

We love Laurie at our house! She is definitely #1. Her CD/DVD of “I Know a Chicken” is probably their favorite. The kids also like our 6 pack CD set of “toddler favorites” with things like “Little Red Caboose” and “Oh, Susanna”. Recently, Jack, the train expert, has been singing “A Peanut Sat on a Railroad Track…”. I personally love my daughter’s Lisa Loeb CD.

My son’s favorite tunes right now are the “Little Einsteins” theme song and “We are the Dinosaurs” from Laurie Berkner’s Band. We march around like dinosaurs for about an hour! He also has me sing the exact 4 songs before bed each night too (one about ducks, frogs, Jesus, the ABC’s) so he’s becoming quite the little soloist.

We LOVE Laurie Berkner! Other than her, my girls ADORE Jimmy Buffet.

Under a Shady Tree is our #1 most played right now. Mom and Dad get “Maholo” (sp?) stuck in our heads – and baby loves “I’m going to Catch you.”

My kids adore Laurie Berkner. We have a DVD and a CD of hers. We also listen to Sirrus Radio Kids Stuff so anything from Wiggles to Imagination Movers to Might be Giants (I still can’t believe they make kids music now, I was rocking to them in college) to Trout Fishing in America. We love them all!

We listen to Kids Stuff on Sirius and love that they play a lot of Laurie! My daughter likes to listen to anything she can shake her little booty at or spin around to. She loves Laurie’s boot song the most.

Both kids and adults in my house love the Lourie Berkner. We add a lot of things on a lot of peoples heads while singing the song. And my husband at 6′6″ and over 300 lbs is a riot playing the dinosaur in the dinosaur marching song. I do not think that there is one song of hers that we do not love.. We LOVE Laurie Berkner! My two boys, Jaiden age 5 & Kyler age 2, love the song that goes, “I’m gonna catch you, you’d better run, I’m gonna catch you, here I come!” They ask me to put it on, turn it up loud, then run around, while I chase them around the circular kitchen, bar, & dining room area in our house. Now, when their friends come over, they say, Miss Katie, put on the chasing song! Fun! Fun! Fun!

We love Laurie! My 3 year old is obsessed and sleeps with the CD jacket of Under a Shady Tree. If bribed, she will consider listening to They Might be Giants (since when do they do kids music?! I remeber them from my college days!).

We love Dog Train. It was a book w/cd that Kohls sold. Various artists recorded songs for it. I love it, too.

My daughter loves Veggie Tales and Boz!

We love Laurie and we listen to Hannah Montana a lot also. I would love this music for my kindergarten class!!!

No kiddoes of our own yet, but very soon!! I am a nanny, though and am constantly playing songs for the kids in the car. Current faves of theirs are Beethoven’s Wig, a local kids drumming group cd, and the Disney Mania cd’s. Laurie Berkner is a huge hit at our house!

Our kids like, “For the Kids” and “For the kids too,” but they also like a lot of music that isn’t traditionally for kids (because, honestly, most of that stuff drives me insane if I have to leave it on for too long). Just today, they asked for Tori Amos. They like the Beatles too.

My kids love all music. But their absolute favorite is anything from a Disney movie. They will sing it over and over and together to!

My 3 year old loves any type of music. He really loves the Laurie Berkner band. He also likes the music that is in tha Backyardigans and such. He loves just about any kind of music!

My 2 year old loves to sing Itsy Bitsy Spider. We do a couple different variations. Great Big Spider, sung in our big voices and Teensy Weensy Spider sun in our itty bitty voices.

We love a LOT of the same children’s musicians that others have listed….They Might Be Giants, Dan Zanes, Jack Johnson (Curious George soundtrack for Alex…all of his other CDs for us) and recently got some Christian kids’ music from the library…kinda like the WOW hits that kids sing…quite tolerable and Alex enjoys them.

Laurie Berkner was our original love though….I discovered her when Alex was probably a year old. We checked out many of her CDs from the awesome downtown St. Joe county library (miss that place more than you know) and (ahem) copied a couple of them…I know, it’s so bad. But they are SO scratched up and worn out now…many of the songs skip, so we would LOVE new Laurie Berkner music!!!

My kids are huge hannah montana fans so the best of both worlds is sung and performed on a daily basis– they even create cheers to go with the song and perform them in the trampoline! This would be a great way to add variety to their listening eras–thanks amy

My little one is kind of a traditionalist: she likes “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” and “Frere Jacques” (”dorm-ee food!” as she pronounces the lyrics). She also likes “Where Are Your Piggy Toes?” by an artist I can’t remember — it’s on one of the CDs from http://brightervision.com toddler curriculum, which are great.

My kids love Veggie Tales and various Bible Songs CD’s as far as kids music, but they listen to TobyMac probably more than anything else.

Music is a favorite in our house. My kids love Disney songs, Laurie, and the classics. Hearing the neighbor boys and my daughter sing together makes me smile everytime.

Not to mention if music is on in the van .. you don’t have 10,000 questions from the backseat.. it’s only 1,000.

We listen to a wide range of music from classical to downright goofy like Weird Al. This one sounds great!

My daughter (7) is all about the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana, with a little John Mellencamp thrown in for variety. Son (18 mos) loves it all, but will plain giggle and wiggle for the classic “Ring Around the Rosie”.

MY favorite KIDS music will always be anything Veggie Tales.

Our son loves anything by the Doodlebops. He thinks he is Moe and plays his drumsticks right along with the music.

Wow! What a great giveaway! My 3-year-old is a huge fan of Jack’s Big Music Show. Thankfully, we can get it anytime with Charter On Demand. Since Laurie Berkner is a regular on the show, we are extremely familiar with her music. In fact, my son watches her videos on the noggin website. Besides Laurie Berkner, my children listen to the Patch the Pirate series, which is a Christian-based collection of CDs. Each CD teaches a different theme, i.e. Biblical heroes, family unity, missionary service, etc.

They Might Be Giants — Here Come the ABCs has been a big hit at our house for several years. Now my 4 year old has found Imagination Movers and we are all getting into that as well.

Both my kids love any music, but my 4 year old loves Laurie! She watches Noggin a lot and is constantly singing her songs!

We are a music loving family. I listen to a lot of my music with my kids, so we groove to the silly Beatles songs and my daughter’sabsolute favorite song right now is “Dance, Dance, Dance” by Steve Miller Band. Going for educational, we listen mostly to the Banana Slug String Band. They are so great, I’ve listened to them since I was a kid and I can still tell you scientific names of tidepool animals!

In terms of albums published specifically as kids music, we’ve been loving They Might Be Giants.

Our 3 year old has a love/hate relationship with music. I believe she has heightened hearing and she startles easily, but she LOVES to dance and “sing” along to anything(radio jingle, country, national anthem, etc)when she isn’t telling me to turn it off! I’m always game for new music to expose her to. We borrow Laurie from the library and I end up singing it for weeks!

Veggie Tales worship songs CD!!! We also love the veggie Tales DVDs…. they are fun, inspirational, and really focus on the important topics that we try to teach our children regarding faith, values and the importance of good character! It sure beats alot of the music that is out there that has such a profound and negative effect on our youth these days!

My daughter likes Hannah Montana, High School Musical. My sons who is 3 also likes the beat to High School Musical.

Veggie Tales and a 4-dics set of classic kids songs (but I can’t remember who that’s by).

We love Raffi in our house but, would love the chance to branch out a little bit.

Our boys, 3 and 7, love veggie tales, laurie, and jack johnson probably the best. And mom and dads music of course!

Power Rangers Song!

Big brother loves Power Rangers, and little brother has now learned (age 2) the power ranger song. I try to sing other songs for him to learn, he starts singing Power Rangers!

We love the jonas bros and high school musical soundtracks! My husband gets a big laugh everytime he comes home and we’re jamming out to them in the kitchen.

My sons love love love Barney and any lullabies My daughter is into Hannah Montana, the Cheetah Girls and Jordin Sparks.

We TiVo Jack’s Big Music Show and watch that all the time. As far as music goes Lucian listens to everything (except hip hop or rap). We want him to be aware of all musical styles. Recently he has been falling asleep the best to Keith Urban. Which is awesome, but I’m not a big country fan. So Laurie Berkner would be great for play time.

We only have one children’s cd– the putumayo kids world music one– but we love it!

We love Rocknocerous!!!

Our house is currently filled with the sights and sounds of Veggie Tales. I swear I know them all by heart (and sound quite goofy singing them to myself in the grocery store!)

We are big LBB fans around here, but They Might Be Giants is slowly taking over. My little guy LOVES the song about the 7’s!

We love the gymboree play CD! My 4 year old & 19 month old sing along. It’s amazing to hear the little one garble the words. We’d love to listen to Laurie too!

My 2 year old daughter we absolutely love this gift! She runs to the TV when she hears Laurie on Jack’s Big Music Show!!!

Any kids music is a hit at our house. As long as it’s peppy and upbeat, they are loving it.

We love Laurie and Raffi too. However, my brother-in-law is a professional pianist, so my daughter’s favorite CD is “Uncle Ronnie’s piano music.”

My husband and I love Laurie Berkner. Our son likes Laurie, but right now his favorite is The Dirty Socks Funtime Band.

We keep Parachute Express on in the background during play. It is fun and soothing at the same time. I find myself singing along!

My son is really really into raffi lately.

My son’s favorite music is anything Backyardigans! The minute he hears them he turns toward the tv or if we are in the car he will start clapping and kicking his feet- it is soooo cute!!! He likes raffi too, but the backyardigans are definitely a hit!

High School Musical soundtracks are favorites around here.

My daughter LOVES Laurie and of course ELMO’s world….. la la la !!!

We love Laurie Berkner! Even saw her on Regis and Kelly the other week. My almost 3yo loves to jump and dance hysterically to Laurie B and his mommy’s crazy singing voice.

The “Signing Time” soundtrack always calms down my 1 year old, and my 2 year old loves to sign along with the songs. Bonus: it’s not too annoying for me! We also love the Wonder Pets soundtrack – “What’s gonna work? TEAMwork!”

We love Laurie Berkner. We only have one CD-both my boys (5yrs & 3yrs) can tell me what “number” song they want to hear in the car–they are always right!

My kids love music of any kind. Right now my 5 year old is into Camp Rock (because someday he’s gonna go there) and my three year old absolutely loves Choo-choo Soul.

My girls love all music. They listen to it all the time. They love Laurie Berkner.

My 19month old daughter’s favorite artist is Laurie. We watch whenever she is on TV. She also adores all three of Elizabeth Mitchell’s CDs, especially You Are My Little Bird. She also enjoys dancing to Perry Como’s Papa Loves Mambo and Catch a Falling Star.

My kids love Laurie Berkner – we have 1 cd and whenever she comes on between Noggin shows on Jack’s Big Music show they are up and dancing!

Veggie Tales is my kids favorite right now, right behind Robert Louis Stevensons poetry put to music.

We listen mostly to my son’s music class CD and a Bible songs CD my daughter received for memorizing hymns at church. Another great one is “Hide ‘Em in Your Heart” by Steve Green ~ a great way to memorize Scripture!

we have tons of kids music, but my sons favorite song right now is bob the builder. something different would be nice.

Our son loves Jack’s Big Music Show. And every time Laurie Berkner comes on he sways and has this huge grin on his face! He also really likes anything that Bob and Larry sing on Veggie Tales.

We love Laurie as well. My kids also like to listen to musical soundtracks (ie The Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins and Sound of Music).

My daughter LOVES Allison Krauss, not really childrens music but she listens to it in the car and when she is going to sleep at night.

My kids love just about all music. Anything from Wiggles and Veggie tales to Hanna Montana and our Christian radio station.

My daughter LOVES Laurie Berkner and the Naked Brothers Band. We’ve loaded their songs onto my MP3 player and my daughter listens to them on long car trips.

We love pretty much anything, but one of my 3 boys favorites has to be the group Go Fish. Kids love it and parents like it too.

The kids love to listen to french children music as it is my culture. I also share different kinds of music with them like haitian music.I make sure they have an open mind and ears to different kinds and types of music. I diversify a lot to keep their mind going ))

Laurie Berkner has always been a big hit at our house as well as musical soundtracks like Sound of Music and Hairspray. Veggie Tales was a definite success for a while, but I think we have grown out of them for the time being!

I have never heard of Laurie Berkner, but I have a 20 yr. old daughter with special needs and she loves music, all kinds, so I’m sure she would love this too.

Every time we get into the car it’s “can I listen to the Bob and Larry CD” , Laurie Berkner is a big hit as well. And “Baby Motzart” at bedtime.

Our favourite is They Might Be Giants. Most of their music is kid-friendly, but in particular, they have an album called “No!” that is specially for children.

We listen to CDs from the library – anything kid-oriented! We also like dancing to the Oldies!

My son is just getting into the age where he loves music so I would LOVE to introduce him to Laurie Berkner. I recently saw her on Regis and Kelly and thought it was so fun!

As an older Mom (I’m 47 and my daughter is 4) and a former Pre-K teacher, I have always loved the music of preschoolers. When my daughter was adopted, I discovered Laurie and my daughter absolutely loves her. I love the sing along sessions we have in the car and the dancing we do at home.
