Our family LOVES Schwans!!! My three year old calls Caleb, our driver, “the corn dog guy”, haha. I think for a side it would be the roasted sweet potatoes, and for dessert, the marshmallow/chocolate ice cream. Yummy! :)

This was easy…Roasted Sweet Potatoes and Sweet & Salty Ice Cream. I have become addicted to that ice cream, and need no other reason that it is 8 minutes past the hour to have a spoonful **wink**

  14. 64

The perfect side dishes for the wonderful Chicken pot pie in my family would be sugar snap peas and of course Rhubarb Berry Pie!! Nothing better

Have been part of a loyal Schwans customer family since I was a kid so it’s hard to choose from so many wonderful options. But since I must, I would choose the Potatoes Au Gratin for the side dish and Pecan Praline Sundae Cones for desert.

  17. 67

I’m not a mom, but a single dad with two kids. I would definitely go for the Macaroni & Cheese. They have some of the best. As far as desert, I have had the Apple Blueberry Cobbler and that is just awesome with anything.

  18. 68

Unfortunately,my spouse does not share my love of chocolate, therefore, we would like a side of Herb Garlic Potato & Vegetable Blend and finish up with an Apple Streusel Dessert; I’d probably have to add some vanilla ice cream out of our freezer.

  19. 69

I’m always looking for a delicious and easy meal for a cook’s night off. I think my family would like the chicken pot pie served with onion rings and finish off with a slice of old-fashioned apple pie topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Mmmm.

Oh yum, I love pot pie! I think that if I couldn’t have a yummy salad of some sort, then the Creamy Parmesan Risotto with Peas sounds delish as a side dish and would go great with pot pie and then for dessert I’d love to try the Key Lime Pie.

I have shopped with Schwann’s since the 70′s except when on duty in another country, we were a busy military family. The convenience between Scouts and ball games was just what was needed. Now that I am retired and the kids are all gone, I don’t have to fight anyone over “what’s for dinner?” My choices would be Krunchie Potato Wedges, and that awesome Lemon pie!

  45. 94

No doubts here! I can do this while waiting for my delivery! Krunchie Potato wedges and that Awesome Lemon Pie!

I would choose the corn on the cob for a side – the taste is beyond compare and for dessert? The lemon or key lime pies. They are a family favorite and taste better than homemade. For a healthier dessert – the frozen (thawed, of course) strawberries with a little Cool Whip.
