Sorry! This giveaway is now closed! We would like to congratulate our three winners- Commenter #66, #53, & #38 on winning this great giveaway from Sara Lee. Thank you so much and check back each Tuesday for a brand new contest!
I love when a visit to a company yields a fantastic giveaway for my readers and I think you guys are really going to appreciate how much this giveaway could help your grocery budget!
As a thank you for visiting their company, Sara Lee sent 25 coupons to me to use towards the purchase of 25 loaves of their bread. I can’t tell you how much that has helped keep our grocery budget low this month and free bread… well, it just tastes yummier! It was a lovely surprise that included a letter that said I could give 75 loaves away to my readers too!
Sara Lee is promoting whole grain nutrition and healthy eating for children! If you have any nutritional questions or if you are needing guidance on packing a school lunch, you can contact Sara Lee through their Facebook page. They have added all of the great recipes that they shared with us while we visited the facility and they have Chef Jill checking the site and sharing ideas daily so it is definitely a page worth peeking at.
This week, we will be giving away to THREE lucky winners coupons for 25 loaves of bread. To enter, leave a comment and share how you incorporate more whole grains into your diet. You can leave your comment until Tuesday (10/13) at 8PM EST. Winners will be drawn at random. Good luck to each of you!

whole grain pan cake mix and whole wheat flour in every thing and I love you homemade pitas for everything!!!!!!!!
I substitute whole grain pasta and wheat flour in recipes. No one knows the difference.
I try to get the whole grain white bread instead of plain white, and have been using wheat pasta.
We eat whole grain breads and brown rice. Limit our pasta and eat lots of Cheerios.
We’ve been concentrating on bread, pasta and cereal mostly in increasing our whole grains; brown rice has been harder for us to incorporate, but we’re working on it…
I am guessing this is over since you said taking entries until October 6th and it is a week past that…but just in case…
We don’t buy white bread at all, I mix half brown with half white rice, we only eat whole grain pasta.
Whole grain bread that tastes as good as regular old white? THAT’S for us!
We’ve started using whole wheat pasta, which has been a bit of a challenge to get used to I must admit. I know that it’s better for us, so I’m keeping at it!
I only buy whole grain breads & pasta. I make pancakes or breads with wheat flour instead of the bleached flour. My kids don’t know they are eating healthier it is just their way of life!
THANKS!
Patty
We use the wheat pasta and I try to get the whole grain breads.

What a FABULOUS giveaway!! We try to incorporate whole grains in our diet with bread, brown rice and Kashi products. Wow – this would save us a TON of money. Between making lunches for 3 each day – my husband and I work and my son is in PreK, this would be the best giveaway I could ever win – haha!

I incorporate whole grains in everyday life because of health reasons……would love to win this!
I try to cook with whole grains. Instead of eggs, I use flax, in my meatballs and meatloaves I add in flax and oat bran and oatmeal.
I buy all the whole grain foods I can. I love the pasta.
Hope I win!
I started mixing half brown rice with half regular rice to get my husband a bit more used to it and slowly upped the mix till it is 100% brown rice all the time. And white whole wheat flour makes it easy to sneak it into cookies etc. I also somehow convinced him that quinoa was his favorite thing in the whole world so it is a ‘treat’ when he gets it
I read labels carefully…..stopped buying things like white rice, etc.
We’ve switched to whole grain breads, waffles and cereals & actually like them all better than their plain white counterparts.
I try to eat wheat bread, which I really don’t care for, but I need those whole grains. I also try to buy whole grain pasta.
We have been trying for a year now to eat healthier. I bought my first whole wheat pasta yesterday. Hmm wonder if they will notice the color difference? Anyway, sure could use the bread coupons!
We’ve made the switch to whole grain bread. My kids will still attack a loaf of white and Grandma’s like candy (which should tell you something right there). We’ve also switched to brown rice which was a little harder but so worth it!
