David Copperfield by Charles Dickens is my all time favorite book. I bring it out and re-read it when I need a lift. This is a book that I don’t think people try to read and it is really so enjoyable!

An Instance of the Fingerpost by Iain Pears is a fascinating and absorbing book, making you think about points of view as well as its religious premises.

One of my favorite books is “Rabbit Run” by John Updike. It’s depressing and I haven’t read it in years, but it IS a really great book!

My favorite books growing up were the Nancy Drew Mysteries. I have the whole collection in my mom’s attic just waiting to be read by my niece and daughters.

As a kid, the only punishment that truly worked for me was taking away reading privileges. That’s how much I love reading! So this would be an awesome prize. One of my all-time favorite books is The Little Prince. It was neat to look at the pictures as a kid, but it seemed like it grew with me since I was able to understand more of it as I got older.

I have been reading classics to my 5 & 7 year old daughters this summer. National Velvet really holds an amazing story. About a girl following her heart, being brave and not noticing that it is a man’s world (at that time). We all were cheering Go Velvet. A great story for young girls and those of us who once were!

I have two fave books, Where The Heart Is and Like Water For Chocolate.
The characters in WTHI are so creative, the story as well.
LWFC also is so creatively written and romantic, sad, angering etc.
