The Motherloot Blog: Product Reviews

Walt Disney is kicking off their music block party with the release of some really great music from They Might Be Giants, Imagination Movers, Ralph’s World, Choo Choo Soul, & a variety of other great singers. To kick it off, they sent us a stack of their great music to see if our children would like their new collection.

To say that my kids have been enjoying this music is an understatement. It seems we have been living this music since we received it, particularly the new “1,2,3″ CD from They Might Be Giants. The music is, in fact, so catchy that I can’t stop singing it. I find myself singing it all day and it is even stuck in my head at night.

They Might Be Giants also has an amazing bonus DVD that has music videos that rival School House Rocks & the latest music from Yo Gabba Gabba. The lyrics are so great that I find I am learning a few new things myself. My son has been reciting ways to add numbers, can now tell you new shapes (that I don’t even remember from my geometry class), and my two year old even has broadened her own vocabulary with music. The songs are easy to remember, but the music is so smart that you can’t help but chuckle at the witty lyrics.

We really and truly loved all of the music from Walt Disney and have them in constant rotation in our car. The Ralph’s World & Choo Choo Soul are two other favorites for our entire family!

Thanks to Walt Disney & Mom Central for including us in their blog tour. For more information on their Walt Disney Block Party please visit their website for more details! You can pick up the new music at Borders Bookstore.

I am including one of our favorite songs- your kids will love it, I guarantee it!!
