I am so sorry that I have been MIA on the boards these days. To begin to explain all the stuff going on with our family would be difficult, but I will try.

We found out that my grandfather had an aneurysm and he needed to have emergency surgery to remove it. They were able to remove it, but he was in poor condition and kept in ICU for awhile. He came home, and was in stable condition so we were happy about that.

Then my father was trimming a tree branch and stepped off of a ladder wrong. He broke his ankle and wrist and they thought they would need to operate. The bone had shattered in thirty pieces so they are unable to do anything for it, other than cast it, and he is to be off of his feet for six to eight months. We were very worried about his job because he is in heating & maintenance, which is not a desk job, but they were able to come up with some computer work for him to do, but we are unsure how long that will last.

My mother became very sick with a bacterial infection, and then her infection turned into pneumonia. She was in the hospital for a week. She got better and was able to come home.

My grandfather then went BACK into the hospital because they found out he had pneumonia and they needed to keep him there. He was then sent home.

My mother began feeling bad again and they have put her back into the hospital. They are unsure what is wrong with her, but she is very ill. Her blood pressure has been in the forties and they moved her (around three this morning) into ICU. I have never seen her so sick and it is really upsetting for me to see her like this.

Ryan also got a new job (praise God!) which we could not be more happy about. He started this week and we are hoping that it is an answer to our prayers.  His work situation has been difficult (I won't go into too many details to maintain our privacy), but this new job looks promising and hopeful.

In short, I just need your good thoughts and prayers over here at the Clark house. I have never been back to forth to the hospital so much and I have never seen my family in such bad shape. My mom has been out of work for an entire month and we don't know about my dad's job. The hospital bills, no income coming in, and other financial things are making them worried and I am worried for them.

Please send some thoughts our way- I love you all!

Dear Amy,

I have been keeping up with your website and just read your latest post.  I will definitely be keeping you and all of your family in my prayers.  You certainly have a full plate right now.  I pray that you can find peace and strength during this difficult time.

Because of Him,
