Campbell's® Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo

Serves 8. Source: Campbell's® Quick and Easy Cookbook


  • 1 package (16 ounces) uncooked linguine
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen broccoli flowerets
  • 3 tablespoons margarine or butter
  • 6 skinless boneless chicken breast halves, cubed (I only used one pound of chicken for this recipe)
  • 1 can Campbell 's 98% Fat Free Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese (I only used a ½ cup of cheese)
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Prepare linguine according to package directions. Add broccoli for last 4 minutes of cooking time. Drain in colander.

In sauce pot over medium-high heat, heat butter. Add chicken and cook until browned, stirring often. In same pan mix soup, milk, cheese and pepper. Cook through, stirring occasionally. Toss with hot cooked linguine.

Serve this with a tossed salad.

Turkey Burgers

Serves 4


  • 1# ground turkey
  • 1 package of onion soup mix
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper

Thoroughly mix all of the ingredients and then shape into four patties. Place on a hot indoor grill for approximately ten minutes or until cooked through.

Simple Pork Chops

Serves 4


  • 4 boneless, skinless tenderloin chops
  • 4 bay leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Heat an indoor grill to medium-high heat. Brush grill with extra-virgin olive oil so meat does not stick. Salt and pepper the pork chops and then put a bay leaf in the center of each one. Put the seasoned side down and then season the opposite side with salt and pepper. Cook for three to four minutes on each side.

The side dish prepared was frozen peas. Cook as directed on the package and add salt, pepper, and butter to taste.

Grandma's Lasagna

Serves 4-6


  • 8 oz lasagna noodles
  • 1# ground beef
  • 1 jar of spaghetti sauce (previously made it a past meal) or one can of crushed tomatoes
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1 (16 oz) containers small curd cottage cheese
  • 6 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup water

Brown meat and add sauce and water. Spoon out excess grease from water. Cook in 1 9x12" lasagna pans. Arrange ½ noodles and ½ sauce. Spread cottage cheese over and then ½ mozzarella. For the second layer add the remaining noodles, meat, and mozzarella. Top with cheddar cheese. Refrigerate for two to three hours before baking. Bake at 350 for one hour.

Breadmaker Italian Herb Bread

Yields one loaf. Instructions follow for both a 1 ½# loaf and a 2# loaf

Ingredients 1 ½# loaf

  • 7-8 ounces water
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1½ teaspoons active dry yeast
  • Ingredients 2# loaf
  • 9-11 ounces water
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 4 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Ingredients 2# loaf

  • 9-11 ounces water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1½ tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3½ cups bread flour
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Meaure all ingredients into bread pan. Select French setting. Select crust setting if other than medium. When bread is done remove from pan.
